A Certified Data Science Practitioner (CDSP) acts as a bridge between data & business by collecting, analyzing & interpreting data to find innovative solutions that lead to growth. 

 

To become a Certified Data Science Practitioner you have to pass the DPS-210 exam. The previous DPS-110 exam has expired as of February 2025.

Yes, the certification expires three years from the date of issue and there are two ways to retain it - 

  • Retake the latest version of the examination. 
  • Collect Continuing Education Credits (CECs) by attempting training modules annually.

The average annual salary of a Data Scientist over the years: 

  • Entry-Level (0-2 years experience): $60K- $100K
  • Mid-Level (2-5 years experience): $90K - $150K
  • Senior-Level (5+ years experience): $120K - $200K
